TRAVEL DIARY #OBSERVATION #HABITS #ALL OVER ASIA

I was so curious to observe , in  the Far Eastern countries like ,Thailand, Vietnam, Hongkong, Singapore or East Asian countries Korea , Japan, Mangolia of using two hands, or using the right hand  with assisted left hand  in doing something good - let that be giving/ receiving  money ,giving/receiving gifts ,  giving  business cards, handing over keys  or even making a payment thru credit card ....

Note it :  Its a recommented gesture for travellers as  listed in all the travel  sites,  for the travellers  to  Asian countries  to use both the hands for all the above mentioned activities .

Is there a reason of why use two hands ? Is there  some message being conveyed by this practice by our (Asian) grand daddysssss .....

It reflects wholeheartedness, respect, assurance, the attention and importance you give it to the object and the person to whom you are giving and NOT TO MENTION THE VIBRATION IT RESONATES .

Americans throw their business cards on the table or push it to other persons, and I have seen throwing gifts playfully like a ball kind of ' catch it ' . where as Japanese and Koreans stand up to give their buinsess cards with two hands with a bow. They express this  gesture as the business card is an identy of me , my company , with an assurance that ' I attend you with care'.

As Sadhguru says " The left hand is the feminine in you - it needs to be protected and nurtured. The right is the masculine in you. The right is robust and the left is very sensitive." So you can say your offerring is well balanced , complete and total .

In Indian culture, all the Dhanams - offerings to god, or people were done with two hands , for giving wedding cards they give with two hands , in North East India , people will get offended if the locals are not givng money or gift in two hands or with the right hand assisted with left hand . If somebody gives it with one hand , then they will treat that it was not given whole heartedly.  In south India , Punjab and some parts of central India , specifically in the rural areas, this culture is still in existence.

Almost all  the positive things involves two hands , clapping, assuring, praying, greetings in Namaste.  While shaking hands if we use two hands, you are winning the other guy fully .

- May be as this quote of Lucky Jasper goes : " HE THAT GIVES WITH TWO HANDs IS BOUND TO BORROW HAND IN RECEIVE "

- Rajesh  Babu - As observed in most of the Asian countries and at Home -
