TRAVEL DIARY - 12 Apostles(Victoria) - #Observation and Remarks - Australia

Nature is the best in Architecture. 

And The wind and water are its contractors  ..... and they excute it in  their own pace and terms. 

......at one side of the earth  these contractors  deposit and the other side they erode .

......they create a mountain over millions of years  and the other side they  erode  a land mass to sand grains ....

 The earth is sooo action packed in its creativity with this continuous  work of deposit and erosion. 

- The 12 Apostles* along the Great ocean drive is one of the standing model of  nature's creation  by erosion.

* Nick named as Sow and Pig ...this area was christned as 'the Apostles' by the Australian Govt for marketing purposes .

* One complete limestone mass - eroded gradually into caves in millions of years , then to arches in another millions of years and  now into some scatterred standalone stuctures  and these cliffs will also fall down over a period of time ..say in  another  millions of years and thus crushing  an entire limestone mass to  sediments.  

* The evening sun gives a golden coat on these and offers luminous shades in different part of the day . would luv to see this on a full moon day ☺

* Though it is 12 Apostles , there are only 8 Apostles remaining and the balance have fallen down because of strong winds - INTERESTING GEOGRAPHY
